NEW ZEALAND FASHION WEEK
Arriving at Sydney airport we were greeted by Air New Zealand staff who handed us our langyards for identification and then we directed to the NZ lounge where a champagne breakfast awaited our arrival. With loads of magazine editor's, designers and of course the gorgeous Rachel Hunter we boarded the aircraft for what can only be described as an event once in a life time. At cruising altitude of 30,000 feet the plane the music was pumping and the champagne was flowing the parade began. We saw an array of beautiful models walk up and down the aisle some even venturing on wearing 6 inch stillettos. Camerman were flasing their camera's, film crew were filming the event it certainly was a gret experience.
We arrived in Auckland to be met by our driver who whisked us to the Westin Hotel with one hour to change clothes freshen up and then head to the opening gala cocktail party, thankfully it was right around the corner from the hotel.
We partied for a number of hours and then headed back to the VIP Air New Zelanad lounge for some more fun and frivolity. We returned the next day, tired but with lots of fun being the order of the day.
We made the New Zealand papers - see images below.
